PREPARATION OF THE GLOBAL PROJECT FOR THE FOLLOWING PERIOD
Last year being very tumultuous, the situation in the state is normalizing.The republic government with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Development was formed. The settlement of affairs in science and research institutions is being expected. Accordingly, the proposal for the global project for the next period is being prepared at the Institute.

PREPARATION OF THE PUBLICATIONS
Several publications for this year are being prepared at the Institute. Among other things we are working on the anthology called Ten Years of Transition, edited by Laslo Sekelj.

THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE INSTITUTE'S IMAGE
The institute finally got its basic internet presentation, for the time being only in English. The visitor of our site can become acquainted with the basic data about the Institute, with the research personnel, and with our ample production that was successfully realized during the the difficult period of the last decade. The Institute also acquired an innovated leaflet with modern design that also offers basic data about the Institute,but in the written form.

TRANSLATING ACTIVITY
We are seriously considering the possibility to start the realization of an old idea- founding of the edition that would be dealing with the translating of the works of current authors from the field of European studies. Since several researchers from the Institute have a solid translating production behind themselves, as well as interesting suggestions, the main problem for the time being is the finding of financial support.
